Backyard Boys Baseball League began in 2006 in Scarborough, Maine as Kid’s Travel Baseball, founded on the belief that the game can teach life lessons, strengthen teamwork, and support both physical and mental growth. In 2025, leadership passed to President Greg Clemons and Vice President Dan Kuzmitski, who share a deep commitment to honoring the league’s roots while guiding it into the future. Today, Backyard Boys Baseball League continues to offer young athletes a place to grow — as players, teammates, and people.
Backyard Boys Baseball League is a registered 501(c)(3) non‑profit organization that accepts tax‑deductible donations to help create meaningful opportunities for kids to continue playing baseball throughout the summer. Your donation directly supports player scholarships, coach training, equipment and community events. Every contribution - big or small - makes a real difference.
